Our Work at Home · North San Diego County
We’re best known for lifting up indigenous artisan families in Oaxaca. But our foundation was built by neighbors, for neighbors, right here in Vista. We invest in local youth and families, and preserve the culture and people around us.
What we do here
Our Stoic resilience program teaches North County kids to face life’s hardest moments with steadiness, character, and hope.
We helped send Rancho Buena Vista High’s cross-country and marching band on a trip they couldn’t afford, and we’ve backed Vista High tennis.
We’ve supported Los Valientes, a local shelter for women escaping abuse, and sponsored families directly when they needed a hand.
From our Mixteco friends to the Native and Latino heritage of North County, we keep culture visible, honored, and alive.
Already on the board

We helped send the cross-country team and marching band on a trip they’d qualified for but couldn’t afford.

Backing local teams so kids have somewhere to belong, compete, and grow.

Our President, leading a volunteer board of neighbors who give their time to lift the community.
